We were commissioned to redevelop the Howard Instrument's website (www.howardinstruments.com.au). Howard Instruments, based in Melbourne is one of Australia's leading retailers of and specialists in speedometer, tachometer, instrument cluster, voltmeter, dials, pyrometer, tachograph and gauge repairs and restoration. As such the website had to be able to display and sell a wide array of products from all the leading brands, including VDO and Smiths Instruments, and effectively display the services Howard Instruments offer.
The new website provides Howard Instruments an effective platform to achieve the requirements above. Howard Instruments can now quickly and easily upload any or all of their 15,000+ products to the website from their own content management system. The vast amount of products and information available makes Howard Instrument's the pre-eminent online leader in their industry.
For the first time, consumers in Australia can browse such a vast array of control system products on one website, and purchase these products safely via credit card through a Commonwealth Bank facility.
With the installation of Google analytics tracking statistics, Howard Instruments are able to accurately track their website users behaviour which allow them to make sound marketing decisions based on the daily data provided.
