Nataraj Restaurant is a high profile and long established restaurant located in East Hawthorn, Melbourne. Until approaching Yarra Web, Nataraj had never taken their business online. Nataraj’s web design requirements were simple; they required an extremely smart looking website to showcase the food, the menus and the ambience of the restaurant itself and to also provide easy directions for contacting and visiting the restaurant.
To this end, Yarra Web organised for professional photographers to capture the ambience of the venue for use in the highly visual website. The website let’s the imagery tell the story by the prominent use of the shots taken in slideshow banners on each page of the site.
The different menu’s were also published, including the wine, dinner and function menus, each on a separate page. Most importantly of all was for Nataraj staff to have the ability to update these menus and indeed all areas of the site on a regular basis, to keep the website up to date with the constant food, beverage and price changes.
A Google map pin pointing the restaurant’s location was another essential ingredient for the website.
The site also includes Google Analytics for accurate website tracking and was launched with a $100 Google AdWords campaign to increase the profile of this fabulous restaurant.
