Paleo Snacks is one of Australia's only dedicated online purveyors of Paleo food. Each and every product is made exclusively from Paleo friendly ingredients and is available to order online through the ANZ EGate shopping cart. The web design reflects the pursuit of health and simplicity of the caveman diet, and the buying process had to be simple enough for even cavemen to buy the products. To accommodate these requirements the design is choc full with big pictures that tell the story and present the user with intuitive options for navigation. The homepage links directly to the four main products the site sells and leaves no possible cause for user drop-out due to confusion or usage frustration.
The site was built with a custom content management solution (CMS) which enables the editing of all static information, the editing of all products, stock levels, prices, nutritional info and more. The CMS also has a custom stock tracking solution that disables a product when the stock runs out, ensuring users cannot pay for a product that is not in stock, leading to a better user experience and less headaches for the Paleo Snacks' administrators.
Google Analytics are installed on the site to track visitor behaviour and make appropriate marketing decisions based on these stats.
